Just got back from a little trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. It's a little pueblo where my parents are from. Middle of nowhere kind of town. 2 1/2hr flight, 6hr car ride. Thankfully the roads are soooo much better, million times better. Some winding roads, the worst part of the drive still looks the same. But hey anything for some family time. It's been about 9yrs since I saw where I come from and it felt amazing. I didn't care what time of the day it was, what I ate....I didn't even know what day of the week was, really. It's an incredible privilege to have that.
